Itgel is a fully volunteer-supported organization, which means we rely wholly on enthusiastic, unpaid individuals to meet our staffing needs. There are many ways in which volunteers can assist The Itgel Foundation including clerical support, organizational development, and perhaps the most alluring…serving as a field volunteer in Mongolia. Because our staff is dispersed throughout the world, many of our activities occur virtually with the help of e-mail, phone, and fax. VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

In the US: Assist Itgel at our Boulder, Colorado headquarters or virtually from your own home or office.
Volunteer for an hour or a year, everything helps! Current positions and sample duties include:

Organizational Support Staff provide graphic design or technical support assist with database management writing and distributing press releases coordinate with international partners assist with accounting, legal, or book keeping duties

Fundraising/PR Support Staff host a fundraising dinner or special event help recruit potential donors assist with the preparation of fundraising and PR materials serve as an Itgel spokesperson in your community volunteer to staff an Itgel special event

In Mongolia: Assist Itgel in the field at our Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia headquarters and in the Mongolian countryside.
Minimum time commitment of two weeks is required. Current positions and sample duties may include:

Logistics and Development Staff PR and fundraising work in the capital city, Ulaanbaatar Networking with business leaders, government representatives, donors, and media Organizing and/or attending meetings, conferences, and special events Documenting and archiving Itgel activities through photography, video, reports, and newsletters Assisting with program development, evaluation and logistical coordination of field work

Project Field Staff Original or continued research related to the advancement of Itgel’s goals Technical activities such as veterinary treatments, data collection, laboratory research Cooking, research assistance, recording data, and writing reports Developing and facilitating workshops or training programs Needs assessment and project development via interviews, surveys, conferences
