It is with great excitement that I would like to announce the posting of Itgel’s brand new website, www.itgel.org, which “went live” earlier this week thanks to the tireless efforts and great talents of Mr. Pierrick Verilhac, our web designer and graphic artist. We encourage you to take a moment to visit the site, which
includes project updates, news of upcoming events, information for prospective volunteers, downloadable resources on
Mongolia
, a full set of readable press features, and much more!

But that’s not all…the new site also makes it more inviting than ever to support Itgel, by offering online donation capabilities and information about exciting giving incentives for new and returning donors. To support Itgel today and receive your special gift from
Mongolia
, simply follow this link…

The posting of this new site corresponds with the distribution of Itgel’s colorful annual information packet, which many of you have probably received in the mail this week. We hope you’re enjoying looking through its colorful contents, and look forward to hearing from you in the next few weeks as we continue the countdown to our 2006 field season.
Itgel awarded grant through “Vets Without Borders!”
We are proud to report that Research Scientist, Vicki Gerwing of Saskatchewan, Canada was recently awarded a grant through the internationally renowned organization “Vets Without Borders” to support her return to Mongolia with Itgel this fall. This grant, made possible with the help of Dr. Jerry Haigh, will enable Vicki to continue the cutting-edge research she began last fall and commence new health-related initiatives aimed at improving conditions in the Tsaatan community. Congratulations, Vicki, we look forward to working with you in
Mongolia
!!!
